Educational Services are provided through a broad-base format that includes special education, adapted physical education, music, and creative arts.

Its purpose is to address the cognitive, motor, and creative abilities of each child. Educational Services are directed by a curriculum of functional academic skills and motor development to allow each student the opportunity to use acquired skills in real-life community experiences. These educational experiences are part of the Individual Outcome Process that helps us measure the progress of each student.

Each child's program is designed to meet specific individual goals. However, we have also identified general topics that are important to all students: basic math and reading, handwriting, time and money skills, human sexuality, health and nutrition, social and coping skills, domestic skills, basic science and self-determination.

All special educators at Chileda hold valid Wisconsin teaching licenses. In addition, our education program is approved by the Illinois, Indiana, and Nebraska state boards of education. We will work with any state or governing body to secure approval.
