| Jon Zinniel – Director of Training

Ext. 243 Jon Zinniel is Chileda’s Director of Training. He joined the organization in 1997 and has served in several capacities, including recreational assistant, program assistant, training support coordinator, and Director of Training. Jon has also been certified as a Training Administrator. A bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Psychology from University of Wisconsin-La Crosse has provided Jon with the tools needed to be a skilled and compassionate educator. Through his front-line work at Chileda, he understands the special care and treatment issues that our clients face. Ongoing professional development is also important to Jon. He regularly attends workshops that help him develop programs for our staff. Employment Law Training for Supervisors, Gifted Listening and Community Building, and Instructional Skills for New Trainers are among the recent seminars that he has attended. Jon was also a delegate to the Autism Society of Wisconsin’s 2000 conference. |
